We had our ward Halloween party on Saturday. There was "car boot trick or treating" as they called it, a food contest, spook house and a costume parade. Obviously Liam is a skeleton (this costume took me HOURS to make. I decided I would sew the bones on so I wouldn't ruin the sweats - big mistake! I would highly recommend using paint.) and Jonas is Batman. I knew I would be carrying Adele around all night so I wanted us to have coordinating costumes. I decided on a tree (me) and an apple (Adele).
Here is my food for the contest - meringue bones! I thought they turned out really well until I got to the church and dropped the bowl! Then we just had mostly broken bones. :(
I had to include this next one because I think Adele's face is so cute! I love crying baby pictures!

Remember how I used to be a tree in high school, anytime I just wore brown pants and a green shirt? Lol. And my goodness, your meringue bones are SUPER cute! I can't believe you dropped the bowl. :( I'm so sorry. Well I'm glad ya'll had fun. Loves to you all.
Oh my goodness you guys are the cutest ever! I can't believe you took time to sew all those bones on his outfit... you are super Mom! I love it all. Especially the crying picture... I'm a sucker for those too!! Your family is so adorable! Miss you :0)
Great costumes!! Jackelyn was a 49ers cheerleader but then was so excited she stayed up for 2 hours and then crashed when it was time to go out trick-or-treating. I guess I'll have to wait for next year. :)
I cannot believe how big she has gotten. Where has the time go? I just LOVE that you are a tree and she is an apple, that is the cutest thing ever! Great job with Liam's costume. His pose made me laugh! Those bones are adorable. How sad they went to the floor. That is always what I'm paranoid about when I'm carrying something. I'm glad you got a picture of them! You are just so crafty!!
