Day 9 - Bohol to home

We woke up early and got ready to leave our lovely vacation and head back to Manila. We arranged for a car to take us to the airport at 8:30am. We were ready a little early so we had some time take one last look around the resort and take pictures.

Spent most of our time in this pool.

This is where we stayed at the Alona Tropical.

The view from our front porch.

It was the smallest airport ever and packed full of people. We only had to wait for a half hour to board our plane. It was a short flight - just over an hour. Nate sat with Liam and Jonas and I was across the isle. I have to admit that when I saw Manila through the window on the plane I almost cried. I so wished we were flying into Australia or better yet, the US. I was not excited about getting back to real life...especially cooking. Liam told me on the way back that he was happy to go home because he wouldn't have to share a bed with Jonas anymore.

The End. :(

Awesome! I'm sad it ended and that you have to cook now, but the Filipino leg of your adventure will all be over in the blink of an eye and then you'll be back in Oz! And then before you know it, you'll be coming home to the states! Enjoy it while you're there. :)

Hey! By the way, I spent Saturday with Sarah Trejo! We harvested grapes at a winery with my little sis Kelly and a bunch of other people out in Sonoma county. It was great to see her and catch up and chat a bit about you!

I really am trying to enjoy it here. Sometimes it is so hard though!:) It has definitely made me appreciate Australia more.

That is so cool you hung out with Sarah! I didn't even know you knew each other until I saw you were friends on facebook. How do you know each other?

Oh, I wish I was there so I could cook for you! Yeah, I want you to come back to the states so I can afford to come see your family. ;) But someday is gonna be good enough.

I like that Liam wants to have his own bed, but don't they always end up in the same bed anyway? Or have they started staying in their own bed?

That's crazy Christy that you hung out with Sarah Trejo, you planned that out then huh? That's cool.

Wow - what a beautiful vacation!

Carol, they have stopped sharing sharing a bed. I think it happened in Australia when we put them in separate rooms because they kept getting out of their beds. I wouldn't want to sleep in the same bed as Jonas either! :)

What a dream! I love the beautiful scenery and all you were able to do. I'm impressed that you were able to have so much fun with the little ones too. That gets very tricky. What an adventure your life has become. I'm sure it's hard in many ways, but not very many people get to experience all of this. Enjoy and good luck!

One can tell from the scenery that you're really "roughing it." :) Too bad the boys had to miss a Ward Trunk or Treat; on the other hand, the experiences they are having . . . well, chances of a lifetime, for sure. Glad you're doing well. We miss you.

I've known Sarah longer than I've known you! LOL. She was a year behind me at Beverly Hills. We went through Beverly Hills, Vallejo Jr and Hogan together. :)
I didn't know you knew her until I saw that she'd commented on your blog ages and ages ago! Crazy, huh?
