What is it with the animals around here?

I feel like animals and bugs are flocking to our house to give us the ultimate Australian experience or something. Last night a bat got caught between this wooden window shade and our bedroom window. It was freaking out and bouncing around the window because it couldn't get out. Of course we had to take a picture of it before Nate set it free.


This was my first time seeing a bat up close! Kinda freaky...

That's hilarious!! I loved it when you said the true Australian experience. That is what I think of!! Yucky. We always had bats trying to dive down at us in our parents pool at night in Missouri. It was scary.
