Australian War Memorial

Last week we went to the war memorial museum and had a lot of fun. We have gone before but weren't able to see everything. The place is pretty big and with 2 small kids it wasn't an option to see everything all at once. This time we made sure we went to the "Discovery Zone" where they have all of their kid stuff. Here are a bunch of pictures.

This was a lights and sounds show of a helicopter. It was a little too loud for Liam.

Captain Blank flying the chopper with mom as his copilot.

There was a submarine replica. Here I am showering on the submarine.

Is it inappropriate that I have a picture of my husband showering on my blog? I just thought this was really cute.

Liam and Jonas have everything under control. I wish we had one of these at our house. It would keep them busy for hours.

The Roll or Honour

This is from the Hall of Memory where they have their Tomb of the unknown soldier. This room was amazing. The walls are covered in over six million pieces of glass tiles the size of one of my finger nails. This is another time when I wish I was a good photographer!

This is the view down to the Parliament building from the memorial.

Hey, Vanessa, I just found you, too. :) Remember me, I was roommates with Carol one summer and friends forever after that! :)
